Using Houdini I created a terrain map with height fields and added some further detail in Redshift for a rocky surface, I then created a thick viscous liquid to travel across the landscape using Vellum and then further generated a metallic mesh object for my final visual.
This exploration of simulation styles plus some cinematic angles and epic drum rolls helped create what feels like a move intro or trailer.
Tools: Houdini, Cinema4D, Redshift, After Effects
In this project I worked in collaboration with the team at Creativa in order to create this piece for Samsonite,
During the project we had to work within various constraints of field of view and having the scene match the environment, overall we have a great result.
3D modelling cleanup and environment creation was made in Cinema4D while the rock RBD simulation and smoke/dust was created in Houdini, the final result was rendered using Redshift

Created in Cinema4D and rendered in Redshift, this was a short showcase for Google Earbuds.
To create this on a short time span I utilized looping techniques in After Effects and minimal render time in Cinema4D.
This resulted in a speedy turn around with option to loop in any which way afterwards.
In this project I was tasked with simulating extra large underwear moving in the wind on top of Australia's Iconic scenes, this a break down of then three finished simulations with colour variations.

Using Cinema4D I created various lighting set ups and materials which accentuated the already beautiful artworks of the Renaissance, the idea was to give the feeling of being in a church or similar setting where some of these artworks live, to do this I created cathedral area maps of this era and adjusted density settings to give a soft but dramatic feel to the scenes.
The videos below are an adjusted final cut to display parts of the project I worked on as well as a detailed preview of the complex rigging system I created in order to mimic 100s of Renaissance styled frames easily across different sizes, textures and detail levels.
Created in Cinema4D using Xpresso and Redshift

This set of visualisations and introductory animation were created for Morning fresh’s new bottle range, there are some interesting compositions laid out for both their 400ml bottle range and their new premium reusable Bottle for life range, the bottle for life range was great to work with because of their special edition design.
In the below section you will see the introduction to an animation which never made it through for this project, the stills depict how this animation was initially meant to be completed.

Trying to engage the viewer with an idea of electricity and power, this video showcases Soltaros AIO2 solar home battery.
Partially re-modelled in Cinema4D we had some design constraints when re-creating their flagship model, using reference images and previous marketing material I created an interior/exterior visualisation for their final product.

In this video we had to conceptualize a new look for the Cottee’s brand, capturing a natural feel for the well known cordial drink I recreated Apples and Limes for a more realistic look.
The R&D on this project involved many weeks of material creation using Redshift for Cinema4D, in this process each material for the leaves, fruits and stems are entirely procedural allowing me to adjust bump maps, spottiness, ripeness of fruit using gradients and various other controls, the final result allowed room to further develop different looks and ideas.

Using Vellum Cloth in Houdini I created a selection of different simulations which I then
used to set up individual lighting styles and angles, these are my select shots from the project.

Working with the team at Seen Technology we created this video for Fox Sports to be displayed in one of their events using Hypervision hologram technology, once viewed in person the black background becomes transparent.
Working in this format it’s important to create depth and really convince the viewer.

Working with the team at Pixel Melbourne and various other 3D modelers, texture, lighting and sound designers my role was initially to animate but I took it into my own hands to optimise the work flow and file assets which would help us create the quantity of videos needed in a short span, to do this I used various render setting tweaks, object hide/show tricks, object panel clean up and overall tidying up of this process.
I developed a simple rigging system using Cinem4Ds User Data that would allow anyone to jump into this file and use a simple slider and alphabet reference to create any script in record timing.
The project went from initially 3-4 hours per scene to 45 minutes.

Every year Roses creates a special series of boxes for various occasions, here are some of the great illustrations I’ve had the chance to bring to life, with each illustration created by a unique artist I try to continue their style into my 3D compositions and compliment their artwork.
Using a mixture of Houdini for simulation and object creation as well and Cinema4D for layout, lighting and rendering with Redshift I put together these images and animations.

Here's a piece I created using only Cinema4Ds basic tools while working outside my studio, this was a quick and fun piece for one of Australia's oldest brands Vegemite.
While working in the VicRoads studio I designed and developed these pieces as introductive and informative videos to be played as VicRoads was presenting at the ITS World Conference.
In this job I created the entirely of the scene in 3D, with some overlays in certain areas.
working to tight restrictions I had to duplicate the 2D graphic effect produced in their other advertisements into a 3D animation.
This was created in Cinema4D using some rigging techniques for the caramello effect and Redshift to render the final video.
In this project I created 2 sets of Holograms for Coca-Colas new and existing flavors, these were then displayed using multiple LED fan displays which create the illusion of a hologram.
These were modeled and textured in Cinema4D using Redshift render for the final export.
During the development of this piece I had fun developing the iconography and motion for each individual topic.
